Arts Council Wichita Falls

The Arts Council is proud to have served the greater Wichita Falls community for over 25 years. In that time, it has grown to encompass the heart of arts education in Wichita Falls. Looking forward, the mission of the Arts Council is to nurture and strengthen the artistic, cultural, and educational quality of the community and surrounding area. ACWF is dedicated to raising arts awareness in the region through its community art programming and venues.

Advanced art students from Wichita Falls traveled to Dallas to take part in a STEAM Workshop, learning about glass blowing, fused glass, and glass-slumping. Each student then worked on fused glass birds, decorating them for a permanent glass art exhibit that is now displayed at Wichita Falls Regional Airport.
